GARMENT CARE

1. For the best results in caring for your garment:


• Always read the care label carefully.
• Make sure you understand the meaning of each garment care symbol.
• Sort your clothing by color and by fabric.
• Use the right temperature setting for your fabric when washing and ironing.

2. Garment Care Symbols

Colors and what they mean

Green - Use the cleaning method indicated by the symbol.
Yellow - Proceed carefully.
Red - Do not use the cleaning method indicated by the symbol.
A red "x" crossing out any garment care symbol indicates what can damage the fabric.

Types of Garment Care Symbols

Washing

Hand wash
Machine wash in lukewarm water in a gentle setting
Machine wash in warm water at a normal setting
Machine wash in hot water at a normal setting
Do not wash

Bleaching

Use chlorine bleach
Do not use chlorine bleach

Ironing

Iron at a low setting
Iron at a medium setting
Iron at a high setting

Drying

Drip dry
Hang to dry
Tumble Dry at a low temperature
Tumble Dry at medium to high temperature
Dry flat
Dry clean only
Dry clean only and only by a professional
