How to fit a bra

fact:Over 70% of women wear the wrong bra size.

Many of them, even up to two sizes too small or too big! In addition, a woman's bra size changes up to six times in her lifetime. This is due to body changes over the years (weight fluctuation, pregnancy, loss of elasticity due to age). Because of this, you should be measured every few months.

The size of your bra is a combination of your frame size and the size of the bra's cups. For example, "44" is your frame size and "DD" is the size of your bra's cups.

Follow these 2 quick steps or use our fitting tool to determine the right fit for you.

1. 

   Step 1: Frame size

   Wrap measuring tape snugly (but not tightly) around the ribcage and right under your bust. Round up to an even number if necessary.

   Examples: 42" = 42", 43" + 1" = 44"

   This indicates the frame size.

2. 

   Step 2: Bust size

   Measure snugly around the fullest part of the bust.

   This is the bust line measurement. The cup size is determined by the difference between the bust line measurement and the frame size.

   Compare bust line measurement to frame measurement
   If the difference is	1"	2"	3"	4"	5"	6"	7"	8"
   Then cup size is	A	B	C	D	E	F	G	H
   Then cup size is	A	B	C	D	DD	DDD	G	H

Focus on fit

To ensure perfect support and comfort all day long, a proper fit is essential. Consider these 4 fit guidelines when choosing a bra with the right fit.

• Cups should wrap around the breasts in order to hold them in place. They should never cut or flatten the breasts.
  
• Underwires should rest against the rib cage and not against the breast.
  
• Straps should be made from a soft, elastic fabric. For maximum comfort and perfect hold, they should be positioned at the bas of the shoulder. They should neither slip off nor cut into the shoulders.
  
• Back should remain straight and not creep up, in order to ensure optimal comfort and proper support at all times.
